Meet the Founders
Chandan Kumar Gupta – Co-Founder & Platform Architect
Chandan is the technical backbone of Global PLM, leading its digital infrastructure and content evolution. With over a decade of deep technical and functional experience in Siemens Teamcenter, he has led and supported PLM implementations for leading Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across Europe, the US, and Asia.
A recognized Teamcenter Solution Architect, Chandan has been an active contributor to online PLM forums and has authored several popular blog series demystifying complex PLM workflows. His expertise spans customization, deployment strategies, data modelling, and performance tuning.
Prakhar Mittal – Co-Founder & Strategic Lead
Prakhar Mittal is the driving force behind Global PLM’s educational vision and industry engagement. With over 16 years of experience spanning consulting, enterprise leadership, and product-driven transformation, he has led high-impact initiatives across PLM, PPM, digital thread, and innovation platforms for Fortune 500 organizations in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Automotive, and CPG.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Computer Science Engineer by training, Prakhar operates comfortably at the intersection of strategy, engineering, and execution. His work has included large-scale SAP S/4HANA and Oracle ERP transformations, PLM-ERP integrations, supplier and catalog enablement, risk and requirements digitization, and end-to-end digital thread implementations that connect product ideation to commercialization.
Alongside industry delivery, Prakhar maintains a strong scholarly and thought-leadership footprint. He is the author of peer-reviewed research and book chapters on AI-enabled PLM, digital twins, hyper automation, and data-driven decision systems, contributing to academic and practitioner discourse on how complex products are designed, governed, and scaled. His research blends real-world enterprise evidence with emerging technologies, making it both rigorous and practical.
He is a frequent speaker and invited expert at global forums and academic institutions, including Siemens Realize LIVE and university-led digital engineering and supply-chain symposiums, where he shares grounded insights from live transformation programs. Beyond the stage, he actively mentors professionals and founders, helping them navigate careers in product, engineering, and digital transformation.
Through his YouTube channel, Confessions of Prakhar Mittal, he distils lessons from industry, research, and leadership into candid guidance on career growth, technology trends, and building long-term professional impact.
